Getting to Normal Illinois
Normal Illinois is part of the "twin cities" of the city of Bloomington and the town of Normal. It is located in the heart of the state of Illinois.

• From Chicago, take Interstate 55 south. From Peru, take Interstate 39 south. From Peoria, take Interstate 74 east. From St. Louis, take Interstate 55 north.
• From Indianapolis, take Interstate 74 west.

Locating First United Methodist Church
First United Methodist Church is located approximately in the center of Normal. It is adjacent to the Illinois State University Bone Student Center. The major streets are listed on the map. If there are any problems finding the church, please call 309-452-2096.

• From the north:
  • take Route 51 south. turn left on Locust Street. turn right on the second street on the right, School Street.
  • First United Methodist Church is on the right.
  From the south:
  • take Route 51 north. turn right on Locust Street in Normal (you will pass a Locust Street in Bloomington). turn right on the second street on the right, School Street.
  • First United Methodist Church is on the right.
• From the east:
  • take College Avenue west. (you will actually be on Mulberry Street after the railroad tracks.) turn right on School Street.
  • First United Methodist Church is on the left.
